Begin 2024

JAN 27, 2024:  Yesterday was my oldest daughter's 49th Birthday.  She is and always has been a joy and a blessing.  They made an offer on a house here in town that we all loved the potential of.  The location was great.  But someone bid $100,000 over the asking price. Very disappointed are we!  Trying times.  We want to see a cease fire in Gaza.  So many people are dying, becoming homeless, starving, and being maimed.  War is madness.  I've had a sad day today.  Tomorrow will be better, it always is.  I surely hope that my apartment becomes available one of these months.  Then I can be a hermit for a while.  I am really enjoying being here at the Beach house, but that will end eventually.  For now, all is well.
